This is an exciting new role to support a busy Director of a highly successful and fast paced international surveying firm.  He is looking for an experienced PA to support him and assist with all marketing activities.  It’s a busy and varied role ensuring the Director’s working life runs smoothly and assisting him with all marketing and proposals.  The role will be mostly remote based with regular meetings in the London office.

Key duties:


  • Website Management – Updating the website with case studies, newsletters and general information.
  • Case Studies – Producing case studies on work completed.
  • Sector Focus – As part of the marketing plan, a monthly or quarterly sector would be agreed to  focus on. The focus would include new marketing information (longer case study), updating client lists, running email campaigns.
  • Social Media – You will be responsible for managing the company accounts and the accounts of Directors
  • Digital marketing Plan – To develop a digital marketing plan. You will be responsible for focusing on the digital element of the plan and then agree a strategy for the next 12 months. You will then be solely responsible for implementing this plan with any assistance and guidance provided as necessary.

They have an external 3rd party provider that can support the above items. The role will involve management of the process and implementation by you if applicable or implementation by the 3rd party provider.

Sales & Client / Contact Management

 – Quotes & Tenders

  • Preparation of tenders / quotes. Assisting the marketing team with new opportunities and attending prospect meetings as required.
  • Helping to prepare standard proposals and submission of the proposal to clients or contacts.
  • Helping to track work quoted against, instructions received and job handover process to the valuation department.

– Client / Contact Management

As part of the role you will be engaged with clients or brokers. You will help manage these relationships alongside Directors.  Throughout the role you will become exposed to their network of clients and brokers. Initially this exposure will be via digital means. They usually hold workshops and presentations, both nationally and internationally, across the industry as part of the marketing strategy. The role would involve help and assistance in this area throughout.

Additional Duties

  • Yearly Conference – Helping with the development and deployment of the exhibition stand and attending the conference as part of the marketing team.
  • Company Systems / Insurances / IT Support – There will be an opportunity to help the Director with the management of the above items or the 3rd party relationship with these providers.
  • Ad hoc events / staff days / tasks – Helping with these items and the management of these tasks. It could be a yearly staff event, office party, company meetings or helping with other tasks as needed.
  • PA – Director  Working with the Director you will help with the items noted above and additional items as needed. The role will involve different areas of the business and you will be working closely with the shareholders of the company. Some of the duties will involve confidential company matters.

It’s a great new role so lots of scope to make your mark and develop long term.  In order to be considered you must have proven marketing and some PA/support experience ideally in a similar or related industry such as property, architecture, construction, or engineering.  Strong MS Office skills are essential.

The role will be mostly remote based with regular meetings in the London office 2-4 times a month.
